2 The New York Public Library (3 blocks)
The New York Public Library is over 100 years old and holds a truly awe-inspiring collection inside of the magnificent Beaux-Arts building. Perhaps most recognizable are the enormous marble lions on the great steps leading up to the building, which are a trademark to the New York Public Library. Open daily to the public.
3 Bryant Park (3 blocks)
Encompassing an entire city block behind the New York Public Library is Bryant Park. Best known as the home to New York Fashion Week, Bryant Park’s welcoming benches, carousel, chess tables and tree-lined gardens offer a welcome resting spot in the midst of Manhattan’s midtown business district. Stop into The Bryant Park Grill and Café for a cocktail and a snack at an outside table while you enjoy some people watching.
4 The International Center of Photography (one block)
The museum features a permanent collection of over 100,000 photographs, as well as visiting exhibitions throughout the year. The Center also offers amateur and advanced classes for photographers and novices. Open daily and tours are available; admission varies.
5 ABC Studios/Good Morning America (1/4 block)
Be a part of the live studio audience of ABC’s Good Morning America. Reservations are required and available Monday through Friday through the program’s website or by speaking with the coordinator directly 212-930-7855.
6 AMC Empire 25 Movie Theater (2 blocks)
This 25 screen movie theater offers a memorable movie-going experience in the restored Empire Theater, originally opened in 1912. The historic façade and extravagant lobby of the original theater were kept intact during the renovation making this theater a cut above your usual trip to the movies.
7 Rockefeller Center and "Top of the Rock" (6 blocks)
Although probably most famous for its Christmas décor and ice skating rink, Rockefeller Center is a favorite New York City attraction year round. Highlights of this neighborhood attraction include taking a tour through NBC studios or catching a performance at Radio City Music Hall. Perhaps the most exciting activity is a trip 70 floors up to “Top of the Rock” where one can take in breathtaking 360 degree views of New York City.

9 Museum of Modern Art (5 blocks)
Explore one of the world’s finest collections of modern and contemporary art at the MOMA. Admission is $20 for adults, except for Friday nights when the fee is waived.
10 Madame Tussauds Wax Museum (2 blocks)
The famous home of the wax stars has opened in the heart of Times Square. Get your picture taken with replicas of pop culture celebrities, athletes and politicians. 11 Toys-R-Us Times Square (1/2 block)
This Mecca of all toy stores will keep kids and adults alike occupied for hours. Besides the Ferris wheel, there is the 2-story Barbie’s dollhouse, and a 20 foot tall animatronic T-Rex to greet you. Open Daily.
12 M&M's World (4 blocks)
Exactly as the name implies, this store is a 3-story tribute to all things M & M. From furniture to just plain old candy, this colorful shop is worth the trip.
13 Broadway Theaters
The stretch of Broadway known as “The Great White Way” runs through the midtown theater district where millions of people come every year to see classic Broadway theater performances as well as a variety of brand new shows introduced every season. Even if you don’t choose to see a show, a stroll through Broadway’s bright lights and bustling activity proves entertaining enough.
